India’s largest Broadband service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) has come up with new ADSL broadband Plans BBG 500 CS5, BB Home ULD 750 CS7, BB Home ULD 900 CS8 in Chennai telecom circle.
All new ADSL Broadband plans are effective from today and will be available for the next 90 days as promotional offer in Chennai circle. BSNL’s new Broadband Plan BBG 500 CS5 offers download speed Upto 2 Mbps and has a monthly rental of just Rs.500 and offers “Night Unlimited” benefit.
BB Home ULD 750 CS7 plan offers 2 Mbps download speed upto 8 GB and 512 Kbps thereafter and has a monthly rental of Rs.700 . Where as BB Home ULD 900 CS8 Plan offers 4 Mbps download speed upto 8 GB and 512 Kbps thereafter.

It is really disheartening that a national service provider like BSNL is lying about its specifications in broad band network. The worst service rendered and bribe expected in every levels. I am subscribed to the 900 plan with only 250 kbps speed . Can anybody do anything. i know nobody cares a damn.

This plan is already there…but there should be something that gives more usage to the users, though i am waiting for the speed upgradation from 2mbps to 4mbps, as i heard it somewhere on internet

It is nothing compared to MTNL’s current offerings! Changes are these:
1. This 500Rental plan was withdrawn, but reintroduced again.
2. Now with 750UL 512kbps plan, you will get 8 GB on 2Mbps speed.
3. 9ooRental plan adds 512kbps(earlier 256kbps)
no double bandwidth offerings!

8gb FUP limit is too low…Should atleast be 20-30gb…Beam Cable offers 10mbps unlimited for Rs.1000(inclusive of taxes) in Hyderabad with a FUP limit of 50gb, post which the reduced speed is 2mbps.
