in all the newly launched above mentioned packs capps the 3g speed @ 128KB max(not kilobits), and after 3g data is over it gets capped to 128kb(kilobits)-i.e-15-25KB max….

Is this plan available in al 3G Circles of Aircel?? I did not find this in their website.. I could not find any AD or posters with these details in Recharge Shops in Chennai…
It would be helpful if some one confirms if this is applicable in all Aircel 3G Circles.. Moreover for the PI Smart Packs, a short code *122*3000# was introduced for activation, is there any new short code available for this one?? Moreover, 128 Rs plan costs the same, so will I get free SMS if I activate 128 pack using *122*3000#????

On apn:- bsnnet u will capp on 128 by 2g Data plan but on apn :- bsnllive with using proxy settin in browser u will give minimumum 256kbps speed
i m using since 6 month so use bsnllive u will give good spped with minimum ping time with nice connectivity

its time to go with tata virgin,in 44 rs. u will get 2 GB data,& in 95 rs u will get 8 gb data at speed of 25-30 kb per second.
and if u have FRC rs 47,then these recharges will comes with validity of 1 year.i.e. if u recharged with rs 44 or 95 u will get validity upto 1 year,if u recharged with 47 FRC plan,and in 47 rs FRC plan u will get 25 Talktime,TATA TO TATA calling 10 paise per minute for 1 year.(tata to tata means tata DOCOMO,TATA Virgin,Tata Indicom) and night calling 1 paise/minute(tata to tata) for 1 year.and 500 MB internet per month for 1 year….its COOL na…VIRGIN ROCKS..

ME USING AIRCEL 3G PACKS( RS 128 CAPPED TO 128 KBPS AFTER THE 3G LIMIT IS OVER). ITS NOT BAD COMPARE TO AIRTEL IN DURGAPUR. OPENING MORE THAN 1 PAGE WILL BE PROBLEM DUE TO SPEED CAPPED OF 128 KBPS, DOWNLOAD SPEED VARIES FROM 13- 17 KBPS..

I feel airtel is best 3G and the cheapest one.!!!!
I have been using now from more than months..
Its the best in service since i get more than 4MBPS speed almost all the time [Gurgaon,Sector 23]
Cheap since i am able to download more than 700MB data in 30 min for just Rs.10 [with their time based plan]. Always used torrent while using time based plan.
I maintain different sims to have time based and data based plans.
I use MTNL for cheapest 1GB plan for a month.
I keep the list of things to download or download stream videos and run all download during that 30 min. [Activation of plan is just in seconds].
I am quite happy with the 3G services in India and its now very cheap too.

At my place, Aircel 3G works only on the roads. Indoor, there’s no 3G signal in ground & 1st floors. I reported and they said there’s highrise buildings nearby which is obstructing the signal. About the highrise… there’s no building higher than G+4 in around 200 meters of my home. So that it! Aircel’s 3G signal can’t penetrate thr’ G+4. What do they expect in a city? If their signals cannot go thru’ 4/5 floors high buildings then its Disgusting. Period.

I dont quite understand why they still use this 128-kbps-speed in FUP.Actual fact is there are two FUPs.
1st one is the 128 kbps which give you 5 GB surfing beyond your free hi-speed data i.e 1 GB.Then it will be throttled to 32 kbps.and this is the speed you will be surfing on unlimited usage.
so the algorithm is 3.6 mbps upto 1GB. 1GB to 5GB @128 kbps.Post 5GB @32 kbps.
dont you think it sucks?
And AIRCEL 2G Network is worse than UNINOR.So no use of unlimited 2G usage.

I got my MTS Mblaze AC2766 data card unlocked, it now works with all CDMA OMH sims like Reliance, Tata, Mts. but 1GB is very less data for data card use, this scheme is good for use on mobile phone like Samsung Galaxy Y CDMA.

Reliance recently launched Rs.94 pack for CDMA prepaid users across all circles pan india. with this pack the subscriber gets the benefits for 180 days or 6 months. 200 SMS per day so 6000 SMS per month or 36000 SMS in 6 months both local and STD. also the subscriber gets 1GB High speed data comparable to 3G of GSM per month means 6GB in 6 months. the total monthly cost per month is 94 divided by 6 which comes up to Rs.15. so the same thing that Aircel provides for 198, Reliance provides for 15.

0ther countries in world are giving unlimited 3G speeds and broadband speeds and India is still providing limited 3G and broadband speeds. In UAE the unlimited broadband speed starts from 256kbps till 30mbps with landline and internet in single line and landline, internet and TV in single line.
India government should think that technology is growing fast in the world and India is far behind.

What Aircel is offering for Rs.198 per month at 3.6 Mbps, reliance CDMA is offering the same thing at Rs.15 per month at 3.1 Mbps. same benefit of 6000SMS + 1GB of high speed EVDO Rev.A data. plus Reliance has EVDO coverage in all circles while Aircel has 3G licence in select circles. Huge difference

They have just added SMS pack to their 3G packs. Before they integrated or attached unlimited 2G packs with 3G and now SMS also. Superb. But Aircel 3G is not available here in Haryana. No problem I’m happy with their 2G with 220Kbps constant speed. For 3G, Idea is best here.
