Xiaomi Teases New Phone with Triple Rear Cameras, Likely to Be Mi 9 SE or Mi A3

Xiaomi has recently taken the Indian budget segment smartphone market by storm by the launch of Redmi Y3 and the Redmi 7. However, now the Xiaomi Global VP, Manu Kumar Jain has tweeted another image which hints towards a new phone which will come with the triple rear camera setup. Some other rumours about this device also reveal that the phone will come with Snapdragon 700 series chipset, which is likely to be the Snapdragon 730. In this uniquely crafted tease which the Xiaomi exec posted on Twitter, one single camera, dual camera and a triple camera seem to be revolving in orbit thus hinting that this new phone in the making will come with the triple rear camera setup.




New Teased Phone Likely to be Mi 9 SE or the Mi A3

There have been some rumours about this device telling us that the phone will come with a 48MP primary rear camera, 8MP telephoto lens and a 13MP ultra-wide angle lens. It is also worth noting that the device has been rumoured to pack a 4,000mAh battery. Some of the speculations suggest that the phone could be an enhanced version of the Mi 9 SE or it could also be the Mi A3. However, this time around we know that the company will be releasing the Mi A3 Lite alongside the standard variant of the Mi A3.

The Xiaomi India VP has also tweeted a new image revealing that he along with Xiaomi CEO, Lei Jun met with Flipkart CEO and said that some amazing announcements are coming soon which could also be a hint towards the new launch of this phone.

Redmi Y3 and Redmi 7 - Latest Budget Segment Releases from Xiaomi 

Xiaomi’s latest releases in India have been in the budget segment – the Redmi 7 and the Redmi Y3. Both of these phones land under the Rs 10,000 price tag. The Redmi Y3 is available for Rs 9,999, and it offers an impressive gradient design with a 6.26-inch display with HD+ resolution. The phone packs Snapdragon 632 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage and keeping the lights on with this setup is a 4,000mAh battery. On the software front, the phone boots the Android 9 Pie based MIUI 10. The highlight of the Redmi Y3 is the 32MP selfie camera, whereas on the rear side we get to see a dual camera setup of a 12MP and 2MP sensors.

The Redmi 7 is the other budget segment launch from Xiaomi in India, and this one also offers a unique gradient design. Under the hood, the phone packs the Snapdragon 632 SoC with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. The display of the device is a 6.26-inch panel with an HD+ resolution. The Redmi 7 also sports a dual rear camera setup of 12MP and 2MP, whereas on the front, the device sports 8MP selfie shooter. This phone by Xiaomi comes with a price tag of Rs 7,999.
