Xiaomi Launches Xiaoai Mini TV Smart Speaker Alongside Mi 9

Xiaomi launched three new smartphones today in China. First is the company 2019 flagship smartphone aka the Xiaomi Mi 9. Alongside the Mi 9, the Chinese manufacturer also launched the Mi 9 SE and a Transparent Edition of the Mi 9. Besides the phones, Xiaomi also launched a 10,000mAh wireless charging power bank and then the company also unveiled a range Xiaomi Xiaoai Mini TV Smart Speaker.

The new Xiaomi Xiaoai Mini TV Smart Speaker from the Chinese company comes packed with a touchscreen display. The Xiaomi Xiaoai Mini TV Smart Speaker is known as 'Mini TV' and comes packed with a 4-inch touchscreen display to bring more and more innovative functionalities to the consumers. The Xiaomi Xiaoai Mini TV smart speaker also comes with voice control support.

The Xiaomi Xiaoai Mini TV Smart Speaker also consists of features like the ability to control smart fittings inside the house. The smart speaker also allows the consumers to set alarms and play music. It allows users to set custom routine settings using the Xiaomi Xiaoai Mini TV Smart Speaker. With the new Xiaomi Xiaoai Mini TV Smart Speaker, the Chinese OEM must be looking to compete with other smart speakers in the market like the Amazon Echo Spot.

Sadly Xiaomi didn’t reveal much about the Xiaoai Mini TV speaker. All that the company has confirmed is that the smart speaker comes packed with a 4-inch touchscreen display with support for smart home products. Xiaomi says that the users will also be able to access videos and music with the help of several supported apps.

Xiaomi Mi 9 Goes Official Ahead of MWC 2019

The star of today’s event was the Xiaomi Mi 9. Ahead of Samsung Galaxy S10, Xiaomi decided to launch its flagship of the year in China. The company launched three phones – Mi 9, Mi 9 SE and Mi 9 Special Transparent Edition. The Mi 9 and the special edition come packed with Snapdragon 855 chipset by Qualcomm. The Mi 9 SE is powered by Snapdragon 712 SoC.

The Xiaomi Mi 9 has been launched in two variants. One with 4GB RAM/128GB storage. This model is priced at 2999 yuan – which comes around Rs 32,000 approx. The second model of the Xiaomi Mi 9 comes packed with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. This model of the flagship device has been launched for a price tag of 3299 Yuan, roughly around Rs 35,000. The global launch of the Xiaomi Mi 9 is set February 24.
