Alongside smartphones like the Redmi K20 and the Mi A3, the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 is also one of the much-awaited products from the Chinese company. Xiaomi is currently the leading wearable company in India, thanks to the runaway success of the Mi Band 3 that was released back in September 2018. The successor the Mi Band 3 is one the way according to reports coming from Chinese media. Additionally, the Mi Band 4 also popped up on the Bluetooth SIG website revealing the support for Bluetooth 5.0, which is a significant step up from the previous generation model that arrived with Bluetooth 4.2. Furthermore, the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 is also said to come with a colour display which is one of the most requested features by Mi Band fans out there.
Xiaomi Mi Band 4: Leaked Features and Details
Going by the report from Chinese media, the Mi Band 4 will feature a coloured display, unlike the monochrome screen we saw on the previous Mi Band models like Mi Band, Mi Band 2 and Mi Band 3. Coloured displays might drain the battery a bit faster, but it's one of the most requested features of all time from Mi Band fans across the world. As noted, the coloured display will hogg more battery and looks like Xiaomi got us covered as the report suggests a bigger 135mAh unit on the Mi Band 3. To recall, the Mi Band 3 arrived with a 110mAh battery.
As for the connectivity, the Mi Band 3 already confirmed to come with Bluetooth 5.0 support which will help in faster connectivity and greater range compared to the Bluetooth 4.2. Like previous Mi Band models, the Mi Band 4 also rumoured to come in different models with NFC support and without NFC support. The variant with NFC support will have XMSH08HM model numbers, while the non-NFC variant will bear a model number- XMSH07HM. Having said that, both the models will feature Bluetooth 5.0 support.
The Mi Band 2 and Mi Band 3 arrived with a Heart Rate sensor and the upcoming Mi Band 4 will have the same, but an improved version, as per the rumours. Xiaomi is also rumoured to launch the Mi Band 4 bands in different colours as it did with the earlier models.

Xiaomi's products are always known for their incredible prices. The Xiaomi Mi Band 3 sales crossed ten million units recently, owing to its affordable price tag. The Mi Band 3 was launched in India for Rs 1,999 and the sales crossed one million right after few weeks of launch.
As for the rumoured pricing of the Mi Band 4, the non-NFC variant is expected to retail for 250 Yuan (approx. Rs 2,600), while the NFC variant could be priced at 499 Yuan (approx. Rs 5,100). The Mi Band 4 might launch alongside the Redmi K20 later this month or it might launch with a Xiaomi product next month. In India, Xiaomi might keep the pricing same at Rs 1,999 to stay ahead of the competition.
