Xiaomi Mi Band 4 will be launching on June 11 in China. Coming as the successor to the Mi Band 3, the Mi Band 4 will come with several new features including the much-asked colour panel. Xiaomi's Mi Band range of wearable devices are known for their impressive features at affordable prices and it will continue with the Mi Band 4 as well, going by the rumoured price of the band. Ahead of the launch, Xiaomi has released a teaser image on Weibo which confirmed the rumoured colour panel and more strap colours for the Mi Band 4. The Xiaomi Mi Band 4 will be the first Mi Band from the Chinese company to come with a coloured display and it's one of the much-asked features from Xiaomi fans across the globe. To accompany the power-hungry colour display, Xiaomi is rumoured to increase the battery capacity on Mi Band 4 compared to Mi Band 3.

Xiaomi Mi Band 4 Official Teaser Reveals More Strap Colours

One of the reasons why people love fitness trackers or smartwatches is they can showcase them in a different by using straps. Xiaomi also launches different coloured straps with its new Mi Band device, but this time around, the company seems to be upping the ante as the teaser image suggests at least five strap colours. The strap colours include Black, Orange, Blue, Burgundy and Beige. There are two new colour straps here- Burgundy and Beige which look good in the teaser image.

Xiaomi Mi Band 4: Confirmed Specifications

Xiaomi will be officially launching the Mi Band 4 in China tomorrow. The Mi Band 4 will come with a coloured display, as teased by Xiaomi officially. Also, going by the same image, we can clearly see the Mi Band 4 will have a larger display compared to its predecessors. Compared to the Mi Band 3, the Mi Band 4 will have a 40% larger display at 1.09-inch, and as mentioned, it will be a coloured panel, unlike the monochrome panel we saw in the past.

Also, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun hinted at a bigger battery on the Mi Band 4. There's no doubt that the colour display on Mi Band 4 will consume more power than the monochrome one we saw on the Mi Band 3. So Xiaomi is adding a bigger battery to the Mi Band 4 and the rumoured capacity of the battery is 135mAh. Despite the bigger battery, the Mi Band 4 may not deliver battery life as good as the Mi Band 3 or Mi Band 2, and everything depends on how Xiaomi optimises the software.

Other features of the Mi Band 4 include Bluetooth 5.0 which will help in offering better connectivity and lower power consumption as well.

Xiaomi Mi Band 4 to Have an NFC Version

Xiaomi is said to launch two variants of the Mi Band 4- one with NFC and the other one without NFC. The NFC variant of the Mi Band 4 will be limited to China only because the company offers NFC-based payments in its homeland. In India, we may see the standard Mi Band 4 making its way like the Mi Band 4. Notably, the Mi Band 4 is already available for pre-order via Ali Express for $49 (non-NFC variant). In India, the price of the Mi Band 4 could be Rs 1,999 or Rs 2,499. At the moment, India launch details are unknown, but Xiaomi might launch it alongside the Redmi K20 series next month.
