Xiaomi Mi 4 unveiled in India for a price of Rs 19,999, to be available on Flipkart from Feb 10

Xiaomi today unveiled the long-awaited Mi 4 in India, at an event held in New Delhi. In string with the speculations, the smartphone is priced at Rs 19,999. Following the course of action like Xiaomi’s other smartphones, the Mi 4 will also go on sale via Flipkart on February 10. The registrations for the first sale will start from 28th January (today) at 6:00PM.

The Mi 4 was announced in July last year in China. In terms of specifications, the phone sports a 5-inch full HD 1080p display with a pixel density of 441ppi. It is powered by a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. The device has 16GB of internal storage, which is non-expandable.




 

xiaomi-mi-4In the photography segment, the Mi 4 comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 1/3” sensor size, 1.12µm pixel size, along with an 8-megapixel front camera. The smartphone is backed by a 3,080mAh battery, which is touted by the company to survive for a day and half on normal usage and also charge up to 60 percent in just an hour.

The connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and on the software front it runs on Android 4.4.3 KitKat with Xiaomi’s in-house MIUI 6.0 on top.
