WhatsApp is working the WhatsApp Business for iOS since some weeks, as reported by WABetaInfo. The report also added that several top features of WhatsApp Business such as Quick Replies, Labels are absent in the current stage of iOS app, but they’re expected to be added before the final release so that WhatsApp can roll out new features to both Android and iOS versions at the same time.

As you can see in the screenshots leaked, WhatsApp is currently working on the Greeting Message feature, which sends a greeting message to a user either on their first message or after 14 days of inactivity. This Greeting feature is already available in the WhatsApp Business Android app.

Its been a while since the release of WhatsApp Business app for Android, but the company was silent on the iOS version. But it’s now confirmed that the iOS version of WhatsApp Business will soon land in the Apple App Store.

With the WhatsApp Business service, several major brands are ditching the SMS service. For example, services such as Redbus and Bookmyshow have already started using WhatsApp Business. If a customer books a bus ticket on Redbus and has a WhatsApp account, then the bus ticket details will be sent over WhatsApp only. Even Netflix started sending information about latest movies, TV shows through WhatsApp. The Business model of WhatsApp is expected to replace the traditional SMS service in the future.
