Whatsapp Colour Change

WhatsApp keeps on working with its visual elements to make the app interface as soothing as possible for the users. While the company has made multiple changes to the app in terms of design, WhatsApp has never gone too hard on its colours. The company has stuck with the dark green accent for the app interface for as long as one can remember. However, that might change soon since a report from WABetaInfo suggests that WhatsApp might be changing the colour scheme of its application. Here’s all you should know.

WhatsApp New Colour Scheme

One thing worth noting here is that the new WhatsApp colour scheme will be available for both the light and the dark mode. The new colour scheme that WhatsApp is going for is light green. It will look the same both in the Dark and Light mode of the application. The new colour scheme will be applicable to different windows of the application. The changes can already be seen on the beta version of WhatsApp.

WhatsApp New Payments Shortcut

WhatsApp is further going to bring a new payments shortcut for the users in India. The feature can already be seen on the beta version of the application. This payments shortcut would enable users to make payments to their contacts at faster speeds. The icon of the new payments shortcut would appear between the camera icon and the attachments icon on the bottom of the chat window.

Not only this, but WhatsApp has also added new Payments Backgrounds for users in India. This new feature will allow users to personalise the payments they make through the application. It is a feature that is very similar to that of what Google Pay offers to its users. But there’s one thing that can’t be ignored; people don’t trust WhatsApp a lot with their data. That is one of the reasons why WhatsApp isn’t able to garner a big chunk of the market when it comes to online payments.
