Vodafone Launches Women-run ‘Angel Stores’ in Haryana

Vodafone India, today launched the ‘First Vodafone Angel store’, in Haryana at Yamuna Nagar.

 Angel Stores are Vodafone retail outlets managed and run entirely by women employees. This initiative is in line with Vodafone’s endeavor of encouraging diversity and inclusion at workplace by constantly improving and reinventing itself and offering its employees with best in industry workplace conditions.

Vodafone also took another step towards providing employment opportunities to the women by launching three Vodafone Mini Angel Stores in Ambala Cant , Jagadhri , AmbalaCity.

Spread across 13 states in India, the Vodafone Angel Stores are already operating in Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Goa, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Shillong, Bhubaneshwar, Jaipur, Agra, Mysore, Chennai, Lucknow, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Kerala.

Vodafone India’s own internal research and customer feedback has revealed that the Angel Stores help in improving the quality of customer service as women with their character traits of greater patience and empathy are able to act and help in speedy resolution. More significantly, latest findings within Vodafone indicate higher productivity and performance parameters recorded by the Vodafone Angel Stores, across locations.
