VODAFONE LAUNCHES VOICE SMS

After Airtel now its Vodafone who has come up with Voice sms service for it customers across 16 circles for a fixed price for 75 paisa. The service is available to both prepaid and postpaid users. To use this service customer has to dial * followed by the mobile number of the customer they wish to send the Voice SMS to the recipient then receives  an SMS alert notifying that they have a new voice SMS to retrieve the recipient has to dial *0* from their mobile.

Voice SMS is famous in foreign countries not in India most of the Indians use to prefer sms other than leaving a voice SMS but SMS has its own limitation but still Voice SMS has not got a good start lets see what Vodafone entry do.




With this service, a Vodafone customer, prepaid and postpaid, can send a Voice SMS message to a mobile subscriber, anywhere in India, for a fixed price of 75 paise per minute.

To send a message, a Vodafone subscriber has to dial * and the mobile number of the person to whom he wishes to send the message to, and speak for 30 seconds and disconnect. If the recipient is a Vodafone subscriber, he will receive a text SMS notification and can dial *0* to hear the Voice SMS. Old Voice SMS can be retrieved by dialing *1*.
