Vodafone launches SuperNet 4G services in four towns in West Bengal

With the launch of SuperNet 4G services in four more towns in West Bengal -- Alipurduar, Purulia, Jalpaiguri and Coochbehar --- within a short span of 10 days, Vodafone India covered all major towns in the state. Vodafone 4G services were already available in Siliguri, Darjeeling, Gangtok, Behrampur, Bashirhat, Nabadwip, Bardhaman, Durgapur, Asansol, Bolpur, Krishnanagar, Midnapore, and Kharagpur in Bengal.

Speaking about the new milestone, Arvinder Singh Sachdev Business Head–West Bengal Circle, Vodafone India, said, “West Bengal is a strong leadership market for Vodafone India and as the leading telecom service provider, our over 18 million customers have a lot to look forward to. We are proud to have achieved a great feat of launching our SuperNet 4G services in 4 major cities in a short span of 10 days. With this, we have covered all the major towns in the circle.”

Vodafone 4G services in Bengal is built on the 1800 MHz band and customers can access the services on a wide range of 4G devices.

Vodafone 4G offers in West Bengal

In the backdrop of the launch, Vodafone India has announced several offers to attract the customers. The upgrade to 4G SIM is completely free-of-cost and the subscribers can instantly swap the SIM. The subscribers buying a new 4G handset will get 10GB of 4G data at Rs. 251. The price of the data packs starts at Rs. 9 for 35MB data. For the customers who buy more than 1GB packs can avail twice the data allowance.

Moreover, the 4G subscribers can avail three months free access to TV, movies, and videos on Vodafone Play. Vodafone’s 4G Mi-Fi device is capable of providing connectivity up to 10 devices. Doorstep delivery is provided for those who buy postpaid 4G SIM cards.

Moreover, Vodafone India promises a 4G international roaming in 22 countries -- UK, Turkey, Ireland, Singapore, Albania, Netherlands, Romania, Germany, Greece and Czech Republic.

For customers who are interested to avail the 4G services can check their SIM compatibility by sending an SMS <4GCHECK> to 199.
