Vodafone Idea Workforce Essentials Plans

Vodafone Idea (Vi) offers enterprises something known as ‘Workforce Essentials’ plans. From the name itself, it is evident enough that the ‘Workforce Essentials’ plans are meant for the employees of the companies. If you have a mobile workforce (a workforce that isn’t bound by any centralised location), then you need to keep track of all the employees individually and capture data from them manually. But the ‘Workforce Essentials’ plans offered by Vi are aimed just to eliminate all the troubles and hardships that the users need to go through. The company’s website currently says that there are two plans available - a) Lite+GPS and b) Business. The ‘Lite+GPS’ plan starts at Rs 299 per month only, while the ‘Business’ plan costs Rs 549 per month.

Vodafone Idea Workforce Essentials Plans Explained

Vodafone Idea Workforce Essentials plans are provided to eliminate worries such as changing market demands, evolving workforce, manual data capture, lack of relevant information from the field force, and more. There are over 200 pre-built app modules that enterprises can leverage and customise to suit their needs. Enterprises can choose the modules they want themselves. One of the biggest advantages of Workforce Essentials plans is the support of GPS tracking. The companies are offered a GPS tracking service by Vodafone Idea, which will enable the enterprises to view the exact location of their field employees.

Companies can reroute the direction of employees as well as track the time of their stoppage with the GPS tracking service. It helps the enterprises in determining what can be changed to make the process of business even more cost-effective and time-saving.

The ‘Lite+GPS’ plan is available for a 30 days trial as well. The modules included with this plan are - time and attendance module, up to 4 more pre-configured modules, field Worker GPS Tracking, and maps to view the most recent and historical locations.

The ‘Business Plan’ isn’t available for a one month trial and its modules include - time and attendance module, messaging, up to 6 more pre-configured modules, field Worker GPS Tracking, and work order dispatching.
