Vodafone Offering 4G Services to Over 20 Million Subscribers in 2500 Towns of Gujarat

Vodafone India today announced that it rolled out over 5300 new sites (14 sites per day) in Gujarat circle last year. The country' second largest telecom operator is currently serving over 20 million subscribers across 2500+ towns covering 33 districts of Gujarat. Vodafone also stated that Gujarat is one of the largest circle for the operator and it will be committed to offering best tariff plans in the region. Vodafone already has excellent tariff plans under its belt such as the Rs 199 Super Month plan and Rs 509 Long Validity plans.

Inviting the residents of Gujarat to join the growing Vodafone SuperNetTM 4G family and experience for themselves the multiple benefits of Vodafone’s Data Strong network, Abhijit Kishore, Business Head – Gujarat, Vodafone India, said, “We have seen a rapid rise in data consumption, both in urban areas as well as in rural pockets of Gujarat. Our network expansion drive has accordingly kept pace to fulfil this growing demand of our millions of customers across Gujarat. Using the latest technologies, we have created additional capacity and built a smart, robust and resilient Data Strong Network.”

Furthermore, Vodafone recently rolled out its VoLTE services in Gujarat offering HD voice calls on its 4G network. Vodafone 4G customers with a supported 4G smartphone in Gujarat can make calls using Vodafone VoLTE service to enjoy clearer voice calls. Vodafone SuperNet 4G customers can access Vodafone VoLTE for no additional charges, and all calls will be billed as per existing plan or pack benefits.

Vodafone is also offering tariff plans such as the Rs 18 Super Hour pack with unlimited 4G/3G/2G per hour, Rs 31 Super Night pack with unlimited night data between 1 PM to 6 AM, and Super Week pack of Rs 79 offering unlimited voice calls, 500 MB data for seven days.

Also, there are other tariff plans such as the Rs 199 and Rs 509 which provides 1.4GB data per day, unlimited voice calls including roaming calls capped at 250 minutes per day and 100 SMS per day for 28 days and 90 days respectively. These plans are for prepaid users and for postpaid users, the Vodafone RED postpaid plans start at Rs 399 with 20GB data, unlimited voice calls including outgoing roaming calls on offer. The Vodafone RED postpaid plans range from Rs 399 to Rs 2,999 offering international calling, Netflix benefits as well.
