Vodafone India has upgraded its network in Karnataka to provide best in class connectivity solutions to over 7 million customers. Having introduced Vodafone SuperNet™, a seamless network experience that empowers users to remain confidently connected at all times for voice and data needs, Vodafone has further invested in strengthening network and customer experience.
Expressing pride on the upgraded Vodafone SuperNet™ Service platform, Amit Kapur, Business Head – Karnataka, Vodafone India, said, “In the past one year we have made significant investments of over INR 740 cr to upgrade our network for the benefit of more than 7 million customers in Karnataka. Our teams have worked round the clock to set up more than 6000 3G and LTE telecom sites in last 6 months alone. Crucial congested junctions in Bengaluru like Electronic city, Whitefield, Banashankari, Yeshwantpur are now on a future fit network. Vodafone SuperNet™, provides customers with all-round benefits of a seamless network experience, beyond just speed, with super content, super streaming and super HD voice. “
With the expansion, Vodafone now connects over 12600 towns and villages in Karnataka, bringing them under the fold of 3G and 4G Vodafone SuperNet™, connectivity and seamless service experience.
Vodafone also recently started offering another pocket-friendly unlimited data pack at Rs. 5, which will offer the customers unlimited data for an hour. The pack is available for subscribers throughout the country and the speed would be that of 2G data. Recently, Airtel introduced ‘Cyber Café paper vouchers’ to attract more users after getting huge demands for its Cyber Café pack, especially in rural and 2G-only areas. Similar to Airtel, Vodafone has priced the data pack same at Rs. 5, which can be activated by dialing USSD codes *444*555# or *444*5#.
