Back in May, Twitter tested the Night Mode feature for its Android app. Now, in the latest development, the social media giant is officially rolling out the feature for its Android app. To simplify, it means that now there will be "dark theme" option on the Twitter app, which will let users use it efficiently at night.
To use it, users must enable it from the menu (under the profile icon). The mode changes the white background of the app to dark blue, which is pretty soothing for eyes.
We would have liked this feature even more if it was automatical and adjusted according to surroundings. The function is limited to Android app, for now; Twitter has given no hint about its rollout timeline for iOS.
