Tata Docomo may have announced its merger with Bharti Airtel and offering ICR services across the country, but that didn't stop the telco from coming out with luring tariff plans. Docomo has silently unveiled an Rs 82 plan for its prepaid subscribers in the country. And the plan benefits are better than that of Reliance Jio's Rs 98 prepaid plan which it unveiled last month. In short, the Rs 82 tariff plan from Docomo offers unlimited calls, 2GB of 3G data and 100 SMS per day for 28 days from the date of recharge.

The unlimited voice calls include roaming outgoing calls too. Also, this plan is better than Jio's plan because it gives 100 SMS per day, which converts to 2800 SMS for the validity period. But Jio is offering just 300 SMS for the entire validity period. However, Jio's plan is better in terms of data offering because of the 2GB of 4G data. But do make a note that after ICR agreement with Airtel, users are experiencing excellent 3G data speeds in various parts of the country.

For now, we can confirm this plan availability in Tamil Nadu circle, but we're not sure whether it's a segmented offer or an open market offer. Voice calls are limited to 250 minutes per day, post that users will be charged at 30 paise per minute. Tata Docomo did not mention any weekly limit though.

Apart from the Rs 82 tariff plan, Tata Docomo also has a Rs 179 prepaid tariff plan which gives benefits of unlimited voice calls including roaming calls, 1.4GB data per day and 100 SMS per day for 28 days. Docomo is also providing other plans such as Rs 349, Rs 499 for its prepaid subscribers in the country and they offer 1.4GB data per day, unlimited calls including roaming calls, 100 SMS per day for 56 days and 90 days respectively.

If you're a Tata Docomo user and want this entry-level Rs 82 prepaid tariff plan, download the Tata Docomo application from the Google Play Store and check the offers for you section to know more.
