TATA Docomo, one of India’s premier operators, is set to offer high-quality mobile broadband services to its customers. Finnish data networking and telecom equipment company, Nokia Networks Wednesday said that it has upgraded TATA Docomo 3G network to HSPA+ (High-Speed Packet Access) technology in Karnataka, Haryana & Punjab circles.
“Due to the steep growth in mobile broadband traffic, the operator has modernized its 3G network based on Nokia Networks’ Single RAN (radio access network) product and services. Customers will soon enjoy better data services with higher network coverage and capacity,” said Nokia Networks.
“Flexi Multiradio 10 Base Station featuring HSPA+( High-Speed Packet Access) technology and Radio Network Controllers,” it said.
“Flexi Lite Base Stations for enhancing capacity and providing best coverage in densely crowded areas. NetAct network management system for effective monitoring and management of TATA Docomo’s network,” it added.
"Network planning and optimization, project management services as well as hardware and software support to ensure a smooth network roll out," the company said.
