Tata Teleservices Limited (TTSL), the dual technology telecom service provider and Huawei the global telecommunications solutions provider has announced the signing of a contract to roll-out Tata Docomo’s 3G network in India.
TTSL, which recently acquired the 3G spectrum for 9 telecom circles for rolling out the next generation 3G Mobile and Data services, has selected Huawei to implement a robust and rapid roll-out in 5 telecom circles.
The 3G services enabling the mobile service provider to offer high quality multimedia voice and data services, such as Video streaming-Live TV, Video conferencing, video calling, high speed mobile Internet and other 3G services to its customers.
Tata Tele has selected Huawei's 3G technology under the managed services model, which includes the installation of Huawei's LTE-ready, SingleRAN 4th Generation multi standard radios (MSR). This selection was made based on the performance of Huawei's networks that already exist in Tata DOCOMO circles.
