Tata Docomo to give Rs 3 lakh of free accidental insurance with new products FR 128 and FR 131

Tata Docomo, has announced first of its kind of products in the Punjab region – (First Recharge) FR - 128 and FR 131, which will give the customers an added benefit of free accidental cover of Rs. 3 Lakh along with the talk time and data benefits. To avail this offer, the customer will have to opt for either of FR 128 or FR 131. Both FR 128 and FR 131 provides customer a talk time worth of Rs. 60 and 500 MB of 3G data spread over a period of 2 months.

In FR 128, the user can make local calls @35p/min and STD calls @30p/min whereas in FR 131, local calls on the Tata Docomo network will be @10 p/min and other local calls @30 p/min. In order to keep the policy active, customers have to recharge with Rs. 50 per month.

Elaborating on this latest offering from Tata Docomo, Mr. Marut Dilawari – Head, Consumer Business Unit, Punjab, Haryana & Himachal Pradesh, Tata Teleservices Limited, said, “Customer Centricity is at the core of our business philosophy and we will continue to offer differential products that will provide value beyond our telecom solutions. With our recent network expansion and increasing customer base in region we feel the insurance product will provide an added advantage of financial security along with our unique product services.”

Tata Docomo has partnered with Edelweiss Insurance Brokers Ltd. to provide this insurance cover to its valued customers In case of any unforeseen accidental death or permanent total disability, the customer will get the sum assured depending on the terms and conditions of the policy. The insurance cover also provides additional benefits like ambulance charges, medical expenses, etc. All policies would be issued basis the CAF submitted by customers.
