Deutsche Telekom Expands Mobile Network Coverage at 849 Sites in Germany

German telecommunications carrier Deutsche Telekom has expanded mobile network coverage at 849 sites in the past four weeks. The company has built 118 new locations, now operating on LTE and 5G frequencies. Mobile network capacity was increased to enhance the network at 731 existing locations, with 5G being activated for the first time at 111 of these sites. 4G Connectivity for Villages: Over 41,000 Mobile Towers Sanctioned, Says Govt

A total of 41,160 mobile towers have been sanctioned with an outlay of Rs 41,331 Crore to provide 4G connectivity to about 55,000 villages, the Ministry of Communications told the Rajya Sabha in response to a question on Friday. MTS Exits Armenian Market, With Fedilco Group Taking Over Viva-MTS

Russian mobile operator MTS (Mobile TeleSystems) has sold 100 percent of its Armenian unit, MTS Armenia, to Fedilco Group after receiving regulatory approval.
