Sony Xperia E1 and Xperia M2 could be getting Android KitKat updates soon

All the Xperia E1 and Xperia M2 users, rejoice! Sony Xperia E1 and Xperia M2 (both single SIM and dual SIM variants) which are currently on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean could soon be getting Android 4.4 KitKat updates. Bluetooth SIG has certified and tagged Xperia E1's software as “Falcon KK-update” and the Xperia M2's software as “Eagle KK_Update”.

Sony had previously promised Android KitKat update to Xperia M2 and Xperia E1 during the respective device launches and looks like Sony is acting upon its promise. We will notify you when the update actually rolls out officially.
