SK Telecom, Deutsche Telekom, e&, and Singtel have announced the formation of the Global Telco AI Alliance to harness the potential of AI technology and enhance customer experiences. According to the official release, the alliance aims to revolutionize the telco industry by accelerating AI transformation and exploring new AI-powered business models.

Customer-Centric AI Innovation

The Global Telco AI Alliance brings together four industry giants committed to driving innovation and making a difference in the lives of global citizens through AI technology. By joining forces, the telcos seek to create a new era of customer experiences that leverage the power of artificial intelligence.

MOU for AI Business Cooperation

Four telecom companies signed an MOU to collaborate on AI in Seoul, Korea, attended by executives from SK Telecom, Deutsche Telekom, e&, and Singtel.

Development of Telco AI Platform

According to the joint statement, one of the primary objectives of the Global Telco AI Alliance is to jointly develop the Telco AI Platform by combining the strengths of each company's technologies and capabilities.

The Telco AI Platform is expected to serve as the core foundation for pioneering AI services that improve existing telco services, introduce digital assistants, and offer a wide range of innovative super apps.

Joint Working Group

The alliance is forming a Joint Working Group to discuss investment opportunities and create a Telco AI Platform to reach a definitive agreement, according to the official release. Additionally, the alliance will consider designating a C-level officer from each company to oversee and coordinate overall collaboration efforts.
