Samsung has launched a Tizen 2.3 OS based smartphone in India, named as the Samsung Z3. The device will go on sale from October 21 exclusively on Snapdeal, at Rs. 8,490.
The Samsung Z3 comes with a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Spreadtrum processor paired with 1GB of RAM. It features an 8-megapixel primary camera with LED flash, along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The phone has 8GB of internal storage onboard, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. In the connectivity department, the phone supports dual-SIM, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS. It has 2,600 mAh battery, and will be available in Gold, Silver, and Black color variants.
This one too comes with the Ultra Data Saving Mode, which was first introduced by Samsung in the Galaxy J2. The phone is loaded with apps such as the My Galaxy app and Mix Radio with a lifetime subscription that has over 30 million tracks onboard. Users will be able to download the My Galaxy app from either of Tizen and Play store. One can also purchase the Samsung Z3 through offline channels from October 21. Vodafone is offering 1GB free data for two months with the purchase of the device.
