The best thing is that it is trasferrable. The voucher, when gifted to someone goes into their MyJio account. The Rs 601 voucher is basically a 5G upgrade plan which allows users on the 4G network to experience 5G. For the unaware, Jio is now only offering the 5G experience with plans that come with 2GB daily data or more. Thus, people who have recharged with a 1.5GB daily data plan can use the 5G upgrade vouchers to get 5G data.

Note that the Rs 51 voucher can be redeemed on monthly prepaid plans which come with 1.5GB of daily data.

This voucher can be transferred between MyJio accounts. However, the Rs 51 voucher can't be transferred. "you can transfer the ?601 Jio True 5G upgrade gift voucher to your friends & relatives before they redeem it on their Jio number," said Jio.

To redeem this voucher, you will have to go to your MyJio account, and navigate to the "My Voucher" section. Then from there, you can select the voucher, and then tap on the 'Redeem' icon. Then confirm redemption of the voucher and you can start experience Jio's 5G. Otherwise, you can just get the 2GB daily data plan and enjoy 5G directly without having to go through the hassle of these vouchers.
