AnTuTu declares Redmi Note 3 as the most popular smartphone in India

A report by popular mobile benchmarking website AnTuTu crowns the Redmi Note 3 as India's most popular smartphone. The smartphone has topped the charts by 12.45%, followed by OnePlus 2 and LeEco Le 1s at second and third spots, respectively. The fourth place is ruled by an unspecified OnePlus device while the Lenovo K3 Note fills the fifth spot.

AnTuTu also noted the dense rooting of Chinese smartphone brands in India. The report points out that Xiaomi and OnePlus pay great concern to the Indian market. On the global charts, Samsung has emerged as an overall winner with 4 of its smartphones in the top positions.

Its Galaxy Note 5 smartphone has topped the chart. The Galaxy S6 ruled the second spot followed by Galaxy S6 Edge on third, and Galaxy S7 on fourth. On the fifth place, Redmi Note 3 was voted as one of the most popular smartphones globally.
