PUBG Mobile is an insanely popular game in India, and there are no two thoughts about it, but what is also popular in India are low-end smartphones. It wouldn’t be hard to find the owners of budget phone buyers wanting to play PUBG Mobile in India on their devices and struggling to do so. However, finally, the owners of low-end smartphones will also be able to experience the game as Tencent Corporation has launched PUBG Mobile Lite in India. This launch comes almost after a month of launch of PUBG Lite beta version for PC which is a watered-down version of the game for low-end PCs. To recall, PUBG Mobile Lite was first introduced on Google Play Store of Philippines, and now finally it has made its way to India.
PUBG Mobile Lite Download Package, and Game Details
This toned version of the actual PUBG Mobile game is available on the Play Store, and users can go ahead and download the game on their device. As per Tencent, similar to the original game of PUBG Mobile, the PUBG Mobile Lite has also been built on Unreal Engine 4, but the game has been optimised to run on smartphones with less than 2GB of RAM. Another difference between the full-fledged game and this new version is in the size of the map as the PUBG Mobile Lite comes with a smaller map for 60 players, whereas the actual map in PUBG Mobile has 100 players in it.
It is also worth noting that the Indian launch of PUBG Mobile Lite in India comes at the right time, as Tencent is also pushing a new update on the same day which brings a new “RPG-7” weapon and a new vehicle “Buggy” along with three new locations on the game. It’s also notable that the number of players in the classic mode has been increased to 60, up from the previous limit of 40.
