The popular Battle Royale game from Tencent Corporation PUBG Mobile has recently received its 0.13.5 update. Now it’s already well known that Tencent is on the task of pushing fast repetitive iterations to PUBG Mobile and as such, there is already some news brewing about the upcoming 0.14.0 update. To recall, in the last update of PUBG Mobile, Tencent brought onboard features like PP-19 SMG gun, new Rating Protection Cards and even set the stage for Royale Pass Season 8. This new report about the PUBG Mobile update 0.14.0 comes from popular YouTuber MrGhost Gaming, and he has revealed that the upcoming update will come with new features like a riot shield, a new zombie mode and helicopters in the lobby. Along with this, the new 0.14.0 update will also come with more options for avatar customisations and even a dog companion.
Helicopters in Lobby for PUBG Mobile 0.14.0
The footage uploaded on YouTube informing about the new update also reveals that the UI of the game will also undergo a change after the new update. After the arrival of the version 0.14.0, the gun schematics will be changed, and in the loading lobby, the players will get to see a dog companion. As part of the new UI changes, the way maps and modes are displayed will also be changed. The new UI changes can be considered to be more seamless and less cluttered than before.
With all this being said, there is no clarity until now about the upcoming zombie mode on the 0.14.0 update. Although it is not clear what the zombie mode on the new update is given the Chinese text in the image, it can be made out that the new update merges the Zombie Darkest Night and Zombie Survive Till Dawn 2 mode with the Team Death Match mode which came to PUBG Mobile as part of the 0.13.0 update.
Changes to Death Match Mode, Riot Shield and More
The Team Death Match Mode is one of the latest additions on PUBG Mobile and in this next iteration, this mode is going to get an upgrade in the form of new weapons. In the Team Death Match Mode arena, the video shows AWM and Level 3 armour lying around in the area which is likely to make the mode more fun. In the lobby, we also get to see some helicopters which are ready to lift off, but there is nothing that the players can do with them. The helicopters also cannot be spotted on the maps. It is also likely that with the helicopters, PUBG might be teasing a new collaboration. However, there is no solid pointer towards that.
In addition to all the things mentioned above, the players will get access to new backpack skins and options to customise the in-game chat. There is also an updated weapons armoury with detailed schematics of the guns.
