The OnePlus 5T, the second flagship from Chinese smartphone maker for 2017 has gone on open sale in India today. The smartphone featuring the 18:9 edge to edge display is now available on e-commerce store Amazon and company’s online store oneplusstore.in.
The OnePlus 5T (first impressions) originally debuted on November 16 and is a successor to the last flagship OnePlus 5. To recall, the smartphone was made available in two early access sales on November 21 and November 24.

OnePlus 5T in India starts at Rs 32999 for the 6GB/64GB variant and goes up to Rs 37999 for the larger 8GB/128GB version. The phone is available in only one colour variant: Midnight Black.
Amazon India is giving an array of discount and data benefits as a part of the introductory sale of OnePlus 5T. There is Rs 1500 instant discount on the purchase of the smartphone via HDFC Bank debit and credit cards. There is also up to Rs 9601 exchange benefit if you plan to buy in with exchange for your older device.
In addition, Idea Cellular is offering 1008GB data offer with the OnePlus 5T. The offer is available on recharge of Rs 357 per month giving users access to 2GB high-speed data per day. Other promo benefits include 12-month Servify Accidental damage insurance plan, 1-year free Zomato Gold membership, Rs 500 credit on the Kindle store and Rs 250 Amazon Pay balance when the video is streamed via the Prime Video app.
OnePlus 5T Features & Specs
The highlight feature of the OnePlus 5T is the display as the device now features a 6.01-inch Full HD+ Optic AMOLED with an 18:9 aspect ratio, 401 PPI and 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Just like its predecessor, the 5T holds a similar hardware configuration. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 chipset paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM.

Coming to cameras, the dual rear setup comprises a primary 16MP Sony IMX398 sensor and a 20MP Sony IMX376K with a f/1.7 aperture. OnePlus also claimed that the new 5T features 'Intelligent Pixel Technology'. This means the phone has better capabilities in low light photography than the previous model.
On the front, there is a 16MP selfie shooter which also assists with Face Unlock feature. A 3300mAh non-removable battery backs the OnePlus 5T, and the phone even supports the company's Dash Charge fast charging. The device runs OxygenOS 4.7 based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
