MTNL Launches Two New Broadband Plan for Mumbai

In attempt to provide Broadband Internet connectivity at affordable rates with flexible tariff plan to the peoples of Mumbai, Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL), cities largest Broadband service provider, today announced the launch of two new BILL-CAP based Circuit Breaker Broadband plan with 2 Mbps Speed dubbed as "Limited bhi Unlimited Bhi."

MTNL’s new innovative Freedom-297 and Freedom-497 plans are specially tailored for bill conscious and limited plan subscribers. With the Freedom-297 Plan subscribers will get 1 GB Data Usage at 2 Mbps Speed. Beyond free usage of 1 GB, if subscriber use the Broadband than data usage charges will be 30p/MB till the Bill cap of Rs.999.




After the bill value of Rs.999, Subscriber can access Unlimited FREE download and upload at 256 Kbps speed. The Control over usage and Bill Value are the USP of these new tariff Plans. The similar plan Freedom-497 will provide 5 GB Free Data usage on 2 Mbps speed and beyond free usage, data download charges will be 10p/MB till the Bill Cap of Rs.999. After the Bill Value of Rs.999, subscriber can access Unlimited Free Broadband with 256 Kbps speed for all further downloads.

Both new plans will be available form 10th March 2011. The existing MTNL Broadband customers are allow to migrate in this plan or any other Broadband Plan at any time during the month just by migration request on toll free number 1500 from MTNL land line.
