Micromax is planning to unveil another flagship device tomorrow, the company has sent media invitations and the event is going to be held tomorrow in New Delhi, India.

Micromax upcoming event

The image used in the invitation is pretty mysterious and it reads, "Mystery prisoner found locked in. Can he escape his destiny?” Well, honestly, that line looks more suitable for a game. The image also leaves hints with “Jailbreak” written on the top right corner, it makes us wonder what Micromax is up to?

As of now, there is no solid information about the device in question, however rumors spill that it could be the Canvas 5. Interestingly, the rumors about Canvas 5 have been making rounds since October 2014.

There is not much to be written about the specifications, as the information is pretty scanty, but still here is what we know by far — It could come with a full HD 1080p display, with the latest MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795) processor paired with 2GB of RAM. It could sport a 5-megapixel front camera and will be crafted in aluminum chassis. These specs are highly tentative in nature, so we got to wait until tomorrow to have the complete information about the device.
