JioCinema on Mi TV: Details

It is worth noting that smartphones aren’t the only industry where Xiaomi has managed to span its foothold in the market. The smartphone manufacturer brought its popular Mi TVs to India a few years back, and since then, the Indian buyers have appreciated not only Mi TVs but also purchased a lot of units. The features and the services that Mi avails to its consumers at the affordable price range is what makes Mi TVs famous in India. The Mi TVs which come with Android support and come with Patchwall UI have especially been a big hit in India. With the rising scene on the over-the-top front, more and more users have been consuming on-demand content.

Reliance Jio has done a specially good job at bringing all the OTT content, whether TV shows or movies under a single name with the JioCinema application. While Reliance Jio offers the Jio TV app for live TV, the JioCinema app is where subscribers can watch the on-demand content. Now it will be very easy for the subscribers of Reliance Jio to access this on-demand video on content on their bigger screens of Mi TV. Instead of needing to cast their screens from their mobile phones, the availability of the Reliance Jio JioCinema app would ensure that the users can stream their favourite movie on their TV with ease.

JioCinema Offering Disney Content to Subscribers

It is worth noting that recently, Jio has partnered up with Disney to offer the Disney content onboard its JioCinema application as well. Under this partnership, the subscribers of Reliance Jio will get access to movies like Toy Story 3, The Jungle Book, The Lion King and more. Another great feature of Reliance Jio is the feature of chromecast, meaning that in case you don’t own a Mi TV, and there is no inbuilt JioCinema app, then you will be able to cast your screen on the TV in front of you via Chromecast. JioCinema offers support in different languages like Hindi, English, Marathi, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi, and Bhojpuri and it offers features like MyDownloads, Auto Play TV services, watchlist and more.
