Google Brings Gemini AI App for iPhone Users
Google has rolled out the Gemini AI app for iPhones, now available for download in the App Store globally. "Now, you'll be able to have easy access to Google's personal AI assistant, right on your iPhone, free of charge," said Brian Marquardt, Director of Product Management, Gemini Experiences.

What Can You Do with the Gemini iPhone App?

Google says iPhone users can now experience Gemini in a whole new way with a dedicated mobile app. "Gemini can help use write the perfect email or text, create stunning images, and brainstorm fun new ideas," said Google.

Gemini Live Conversations on your iPhone

According to Google, iPhone users can now talk to Gemini in a conversational manner, including interrupting to ask questions or change the topic. Furthermore, users can personalise Gemini's voice by choosing from 10 distinct voices. Google said that Gemini Live is currently available in over 10 languages on iPhone, with more coming soon.

With Gemini Live, iPhone users can engage in conversational exchanges. This feature is ideal for interview prep, travel advice, or creative brainstorming.

Enhanced Learning Support

Google says that Gemini makes learning easier. For instance, users can ask questions about any subject and get tailored study plans. "Gemini can also provide custom, step-by-step guidance that adapts to your learning style, and you can even test your knowledge with quizzes," said Google. Users can even upload complex diagrams for Gemini to quiz them on, making it a learning companion.

Advanced Image Generation with Imagen 3

The app's Imagen 3 model enables users to create photorealistic images from text prompts. "Imagen 3, our highest-quality image generation model yet, quickly transforms your text descriptions into stunning AI images," Google said.

Integrated Google Extensions

Gemini connects with Google apps like Gmail, YouTube, and Calendar through Extensions, providing users with a unified experience that pulls relevant information directly into conversations.

Available on both Android and iOS, the Gemini app is Google's latest move to make AI-driven productivity tools easily accessible to iPhone users. "Available on both Android and iOS, the Gemini app puts the power of a true AI-powered personal assistant right in your pocket, Google said.
