Ericsson demonstrates speeds up to 1.2Gbps on LTE, deploys first end-to-end 5G trial system

A demonstration conducted by the multinational networking company Ericsson and COSMOTE, the largest mobile network operator in Greece, achieved download speeds of up to 1.2Gbps on the LTE network. Once commercially launched, this would enable faster access to apps and rich media content for subscribers. Huawei Exec. Director demands telecom industry to prepare for 5G launch

Global Spectrum Plan necessary to deliver ultra-fast 5G: GSMA

Let’s Hope Indian Telcos don’t learn ‘slice and dice’ tricks from their US Counterparts

A few weeks ago, US Carrier T-Mobile launched their 'unlimited' plan called T-Mobile ONE. Like any other unlimited plan, even this came up with lots of terms and conditions. Airtel inks pact to divest 950 towers in Congo

Bharti Airtel Thursday said that it will divest about 950 towers in Democratic Republic of Congo to Helios Towers Africa (HTA).
