BSNL revises Voice STV 88 by reducing validity from 60 days to 48 days

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced the revision of Voice STV 88 by reducing validity from 60 days to 48 days. The new tariff will come into effect from March 15th, 2016 on PAN India basis.

For BSNL prepaid mobile customers enrolled in per minute plan, STV 88 offer Local/STD on-net calls at 10p/min and 30p/min for off-net local/STD calls. For per second plan subscribers, local/STD on-net calls will be charged at 1p/3sec and off-net local/STD will be charged at 2p/3sec. The same benefits are also available on Voice STV 42 which comes with a validity of 21 days.

While on one hand BSNL continues to attract more subscribers by offering the cheapest call rates and launching special promotional offers, on the other hand it continues the regular hike on tariff by reducing validity of existing special tariff vouchers. BSNL is trying hard to gain profits by next fiscal through a round of measures.
