For its GSM prepaid subscribers, the state-led telecom operator, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has been launching very attractive plans and offers. However, there is one offer from the telco which the users are praising very much and it provides free 2.21GB additional data to the consumers. Now this plan is not new for the prepaid subscribers of BSNL and has been a hint since last year, BSNL has made a handful of extensions to this offer judging the consumer sentiment. In the first week of May, the government led telco announced another extension to this bonus data plan informing consumers that they will be getting additional 2.21GB daily data on their prepaid plans until June 30.
BSNL Extends Additional Daily Data Offer Till June End
With this new update, BSNL has also issued a list of plans and STV with which the additional data offer will be valid. BSNL noted that Rs 186 prepaid plan which used to offer daily data of 1GB will now offer 3.21GB of daily data. Similar will be the case for Rs 429 plan which offers 1GB daily data usually but combined with this offer it will ship 3.21GB of data daily. Plans which offer 1.5GB of daily data like the Rs 485 and Rs 666 prepaid voucher will now offer 3.71GB of data daily to the subscribers. Lastly, the Rs 1,699 plan which offers 2GB daily data to the subscribers will offer 4.21GB daily data. It is also worth noting that currently, the offer will be valid in Chennai and Tamil Nadu circles only.
The daily data offer is also applicable on select STVs as well. Like the BSNL STVs which offer 1GB daily data to the subscribers, namely STV 187, STV 349, STV 399 and STV 447, will all offers 3.21GB data per day to the users till June 30, 2019.
BSNL Revises STV 35 and STV 53
It is worth noting that as of late, BSNL has been making rapid updates to its prepaid roster. Recently, we got to know that the state-led telecom operator has also removed Rs 10, Rs 20 talk time online recharges from its portfolio and has kept them live only for offline stores. These consumer-centric moves have extensively been working in favour for the government-owned telecom operator as it is continuing to add subscribers albeit in a slow pace. Only a few days back, it had also revised the STV 35 to offer 25 times more data. Previously, the STV used to offer 200MB data, but now it offers 5GB data for five days. Similarly, the STV 53 which used to offer 250MB data for 21 days now offers 8GB data for 14 days.
