BSNL launches 6 new unlimited 3G data vouchers

By August 3rd, 2016 AT 6:30 PM

Until now, there wasn’t any unlimited 3G data packs for BSNL mobile customers in North Zone (Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, UP East, UP West, Uttaranchal). But this time the PSU telecom operator has announced new unlimited 3G data packs for northern circles to offer high speed data connectivity to its customers.

With the launch of new special BSNL unlimited 3G data packs, the company has introduced six data packs priced at Rs 351, Rs 451, Rs 651, Rs 751, Rs 851 & Rs 951 for north zone mobile users. Though these packs aren’t truly unlimited data packs as they come with FUP data limit post which one can enjoy unlimited data at lower speeds.

Details of newly announced BSNL unlimited data packs for north zone

Rs 451 2.5 GB
Rs 651 5.5 GB
Rs 751 7 GB
Rs 851 8 GB
Rs 951 9 GB
North Zone -> (Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, UP East, UP West, Uttaranchal).

Though, BSNL 3G network in north zone circles doesn’t offer great speeds like private operators, the company has a good 2G presence in the region. However, the plans aren’t as cheap as other operators including Vodafone, Airtel & Idea who have slashed their data rates by up to 67% in recent weeks to counter Jio which is expected to offer true unlimited benefits after commercial launch tentatively scheduled on August 15. So we have to wait few more weeks to see how BSNL performs with these unlimited offers in the north region.
