State-run telecom operator BSNL has extended the 'Happy Browsing' promo offer to its broadband subscribers across the country. Under this offer, BSNL broadband users will get the same pre-FUP data speeds even after crossing the monthly FUP limit. Back in July 2017, BSNL offered the same scheme and it has now started the offer again.

Currently, there's no info on how many days does this offer is valid, maybe BSNL will offer the same during November 2017, and will start limiting users from December 2017. However, this time around, BSNL is not informing its customers via SMS or any mode. Customers can head over to the data usage portal, and if they have already crossed the allotted FUP, they can see a message of Happy Browsing offer.

Customers have to manually activate the offer by heading over to the BSNL data usage portal and clicking the Happy Browsing portal. Being a promotional offer, this offer might be applicable for the next three months.

BSNL is looking to grab the customers attention with these type of offers. Also, the government-owned PSU recently made a big change to its existing broadband plans. Starting November 1, 2017, BSNL unlimited broadband plans are revised to offer a base speed of 10 Mbps and 8 Mbps.

BSNL's broadband plans priced below Rs. 675 are now offering a base download speed of 8 Mbps, and plans above Rs. 675 are offering 10 Mbps. That said, with the Happy Browsing offer, customers can enjoy the same 8 Mbps and 10 Mbps speeds even after crossing the monthly FUP.

The popular BSNL BB249 broadband plan is also revised recently. It now offers a base speed of 8 Mbps till 5GB, but with the Happy Browsing offer, there's no such limit of 5GB data, and customers can enjoy the same 8 Mbps download speed for the entire offer period.
