These plans cost Rs 239, Rs 399, and Rs 969. Customers subscribing to these plans would authorise Airtel to share their profile details and personal information with the insurance company ICICI Lombard for the purpose of issuing the Group Safeguard Accident Insurance Policy. Bharti Airtel Accidental Insurance Prepaid Plans

Airtel Rs 239 Plan - This is the first plan on the list, and it offers unlimited voice calling, 2GB of data, and 100 SMS/day, along with accidental insurance (Rs 1 lakh for death or disability and Rs 25,000 for hospitalisation due to accident for 30 days). Note that the service validity of the prepaid plan is 28 days, while the insurance coverage is for 30 days.

Airtel Rs 399 Plan - This plan also carries a service validity of 28 days. The benefits are - 2GB of daily data, unlimited voice calling, and 100 SMS/day. The insurance cover is again for 30 days, and the amount is Rs 1 lakh for death and Rs 25,000 for hospitalisation due to an accident.

Airtel Rs 969 Plan - The Rs 969 prepaid plan from Airtel comes with 1.5GB of daily data, unlimited voice calling, and 100 SMS/day for 84 days. The insurance cover is of Rs 1 lakh for death or disability and Rs 25,000 for hospitalisation due to accident for 90 days.

Terms and Conditions to Know

Firstly, the policy is only applicable for customers who are aged between 18-80 years. The Scheme Member can make 1 claim per policy per event, maximum upto 3 claims within a policy duration. In case you have multiple Airtel prepaid SIMs, then you can get a maximum cover of Rs 5,00,000. The policy will start from the next day i.e. T+1 12 am from the date of recharge.
