Ever since the effects of data tariff ware have started to subside, Bharti Airtel has taken matters into its own hands to amp up the competition and match Reliance Jio in its own battle. The Sunil Bharti Mittal led telecom operator is the only player in the Indian telecom sector which is currently putting an intense competition to Reliance Jio, whether it is in terms of matching the ARPU, amassing subscribers at a rapid pace or the attractiveness of its plans and offers. On these lines, Bharti Airtel has introduced yet another prepaid plan for its subscribers which is available for Rs 97. To recall, only a few days back Reliance Jio launched a new Rs 148 prepaid plan for its subscribers. Here are all the details that you need to know about the Rs 97 prepaid plan from Bharti Airtel.

Bharti Airtel Rs 97 Prepaid Plan Details

Unlike the most popular plans which are combo offerings for Bharti Airtel subscribers for a month or more than that, this new plan is a prepaid plan of its own kind. In the Rs 97 prepaid plan subscribers get access to 2GB data for the entire validity period of 14 days. The plan also bundles unlimited calls and 100 SMS per day as well.

Bharti Airtel Rs 148 Prepaid Plan Details

It can be said that the newly launched plan by Bharti Airtel is somewhere on the lines of the Rs 148 plan which Airtel launched a few days back. Similar to the Rs 97 plan, the Rs 148 plan also bundles 3GB data for the entire validity period of 28 days. Along with this, the prepaid plan also bundles 100SMS per day and unlimited calling benefit. These two plans are much more suited for subscribers who mostly rely on voice calling and use lesser data. Both the plans do not offer daily data benefit and are good options for subscribers who rarely switch on their mobile data.

Bharti Airtel Revises Rs 1,699 Prepaid Plan

It is also worth noting that to increase the attractiveness of its prepaid plans, Bharti Airtel has been making a couple of revisions too on its prepaid portfolio. Last we heard, Bharti Airtel was making revisions to its long-term prepaid plan of Rs 1,699. The Rs 1,699 is one of the most popular long-term recharge available in Airtel prepaid portfolio.

Previously, the plan used to offer 1GB daily data combined with unlimited calling and 100 SMS per day along with other additional benefits. After the revision, the Airtel prepaid plan of Rs 1,699 now offers 1.4GB daily data with the calling and SMS benefits. The additional benefits in this plan include a premium subscription to Airtel TV, where subscribers can access HOOQ, ZEE5, content and 350+ live channels and 10,000+ movies and TV shows. Bharti Airtel has also introduced free hello tunes for its subscribers which the subscribers can set and change from the Wynk Music app.
