Airtel Online Store Started Offering Smartphones for Prepaid Users With 1.4GB Daily Data for a Year

Airtel Online Store has been offering various smartphones with down payment and EMI payment option for postpaid users. However, prepaid users have been left out for a while now. Until now, if an Airtel prepaid user wants to purchase a device on Airtel Online Store, then they have to migrate to postpaid and get the device under EMI scheme. To make it hassle-free, Airtel is now offering smartphones with down payment and EMI option to its prepaid users as well. Although, only three smartphones (Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 6.1 and Oppo F9 Pro) is currently available for prepaid users, alongside for postpaid users. Airtel is even offering 1.4GB data per day, unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day for users who purchase the device.

Airtel Prepaid Users Can Now Purchase Smartphones from Airtel Online Store

At the moment, only three smartphones- Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 6.1 (4GB) and Oppo F9 Pro are being made available for prepaid users. If a user is looking to purchase the Nokia 7 Plus from Airtel Online Store, then a one-time payment of Rs 7,699 will be collected at the time of purchase. And for the next 12 months, users will have to make a payment of Rs 1,734, which also includes data, voice calling and SMS benefits for a year. Airtel states that the monthly amount should be paid directly to the lender. For the unaware, the Nokia 7 Plus is priced at Rs 25,999 in India and if a user purchases the device from Airtel Online Store, then the final amount of the phone after 12 months becomes Rs 28,507.

Talking about the Oppo F9 Pro, users will have to make a one-time payment of Rs 6,015 and a monthly EMI amount of Rs 1,714 for 12 months. Lastly, Airtel is also offering the 4GB RAM version of Nokia 6.1 for prepaid plans. For the Nokia 6.1, users have to make an upfront payment of Rs 4,599, followed by a monthly EMI of Rs 1,275 every month for 12 months.

Airtel Prepaid Users Can Enjoy 1.4GB Daily Data for a Year

If a user chooses any of the three smartphones mentioned above, then Airtel will offer them free services for a year. Airtel will provide 1.4GB data per day, unlimited voice calls without any FUP limit and 100 SMS per day during the monthly EMI period. For the unaware, Airtel is already offering various smartphones for its postpaid users and every device comes bundled with a myPlan Infinity postpaid plan.

Apple iPhone XS and XS Max Will Be Available on Airtel Online Store

Airtel was very quick in bringing the recently announced Apple iPhone XS and XS Max to its Online Store. Right now, the telco is taking pre-orders for the XS and XS Max, while the open sale will begin on September 27. Do make a note that Airtel did not roll out any EMI option for the new iPhones, but it might happen in the coming days.
