Bharti Airtel revamps ‘My Airtel’ app interface for Android, adds coupons for recharges

Bharti Airtel base has rebuilt it's ‘My Airtel’ self-care app from the ground up. The newly designed app has many new features added like ‘Airtel Surprises’ which offers free coupons on all first recharges equivalent to the denomination of the recharge. The coupons are launched in partnership with Mydala and partnership with popular brands like PVR Cinemas, Café Coffee Day, Flipkart. amazon, Ebay, Myntra, among others.

The app interface has been redone to be more intuitive and to house all services under one roof. The subscriber can manage multiple accounts of Mobile, Landline and DTH platforms from inside the same app. The online payment gateway for Bill payment and prepaid recharges has been made more secure with the addition of PCI-DSS certification. Also the payment experience has been made hassle free and smoother with the ability to store credit or debit card info in the app.

Currently the new interface of the ‘My Airtel’ self-care app is available only for select users and only on the Android operating system, soon it will be rolled out for all users on all leading operating system platforms. Push notifications with alerts such as low balance, pack expiry and payment due date will also be available on the app. Using of ‘My Airtel’ app on Airtel network will not count against your data allowance which means the data usage on this app is completely free for Airtel subscribers.
