Airtel Digital TV crosses 10M subscriber mark in six years, adds 12 new channels

With this new achievement, the provider has decided to add 12 new channels to its subscribers, which will raise its total number of channels and services to a new milestone of 500. Alongside, the company would also expand its HD portfolio to over 50 HD channels. The Number of regional channels will also be increased.

Airtel Digital TV, which recently introduced Integrated Digital TV (iDTV), has many first-of-its-kind credits with it. The operator was the first to introduce Universal Remote, with Multi-lingual EPG. It is also the first company that facilitated the recording on a standard definition set-top-box using a USB storage device.
