India's largest telecom operator, Bharti Airtel has started offering cash backs on used voice calls, similar to their 'Data Cash Back' offer. It means that users will now get half of used voice-calling balance credited back to their main account.
The new offer comes as an outcome of Airtel's 'Data Cash Back' strategy, which worked well in the market. The offer fetched maximum new users for the company in the last few months. Besides, the company also recorded a substantial growth in the number of data users. In a bid to repeat the same success with voice-calling, Airtel has come up with a similar offer in calling segment.
The Airtel customers who have already activated 'Data Cash Back' offer; will be getting rewarded with free voice seconds as a part of the new voice-calling offer. It means that their used voice seconds will be credited back to main balance if they have made calls to any number in the night (between 12 AM- 6 AM).
When contacted, Airtel executives told us that the customers enrolled in the data cash back program will also get benefits of voice cashback offer. However, one can only get 50% of voice usage ( in seconds ) in the night, which would be valid for next 7 days limited to local Airtel number. Users can check free voice seconds through a USSD code -*125*324# or from My Airtel app.
If you're an Airtel prepaid customer and still haven't activated Cash Back offers then you can give a missed call to 55555 (toll-free) to activate 50% of cash back on both data and voice usage.
