We have already seen Airtel make a very massive revamp to its postpaid plans thus making a big wave in the telecom industry. The telecom operator has completely changed its postpaid plans and is now offering differently priced plans with altered benefits. However, that is not the only thing that Bharti Airtel has changed across its portfolio. The telco has also introduced a new Amazon Prime offer with its prepaid plans and has switched up the plans for one of its other offerings – the Airtel 4G hotspot. The 4G hotspot device which used to be available for lots of different plans has a simplified plan and it will now be available on a rental basis on a very affordable price point. Check the new prices for Airtel 4G hotspot below.

Bharti Airtel 4G Hotspot Price

When 4G hotspot devices became the pot of gold in the market for the telecom companies, we saw Reliance Jio, and Bharti Airtel both release similar products in the market with the same price tag. The Reliance JioFi and Airtel 4G hotspot were available with a price tag of Rs 999 only a few months back along with many plan options for the latter. However, although the upfront price of the device remains the same at Rs 999 now, the Airtel 4G hotspot plan will be available only for Rs 399 to the consumers. On its official website, Airtel has listed a single plan for the interested buyers of Airtel 4G hotspot that starts at Rs 399. With this plan, consumers will be able to enjoy 50GB data per month on their hotspot device. Post the exhaustion of this data, the speed will be throttled down to 80 Kbps.

But this no longer would be the case as now the buyers will only need to pay the Rs 399 rental every month in addition to the Rs 999 for the hotspot device. Interested users can avail this offer from official Airtel website.

Airtel 4G Hotspot Features

It is worth noting that the Airtel 4G hotspot is a very handy device which can create Wi-Fi hotspot wherever you go, and it allows you to connect up to 10 devices at once. Bharti Airtel had partnered up with Huawei to manufacture this device for the consumers. The device also comes with a 1,500mAh battery which is expected to provide a battery backup of six hours. However, as compared to JioFi, the Airtel 4G hotspot can connect less number of devices, as Reliance Jio boasts of providing connectivity to 31 devices through the JioFi. On the flip side, Airtel 4G hotspot has a feature of automatically switching to a 3G network in case there is no 4G network available in the area thus ensuring that you can get connectivity wherever you go.
