ACT readies to expand its presence in Wired Broadband services, a good move to end users

ACT (Atria Convergence Technology) broadband has been in the overdrive mode when it comes to the past few months. They quickly ramped up their Fibernet and now they are taking the wired broadband category to an entire new level and will be locking horns with the biggies like Airtel, MTNL and BSNL.

Bala Malladi, CEO of ACT Group said to The hindubusinessline  “We are now the fourth largest Internet Service Provider in the wired broadband category. We hope to have one million broadband subscribers in the next 18 months from the present half a million”




act-broadband-fibernet-detailsACT had started off half a decade ago with a Subscribers base of just 30,000 and now today it has reached almost 500,000. The Company has been instrumental in providing high speed broadband at an affordable price point. According to the company the recent 80MBPS plan has garnered lots of response as it is one of the fastest Internet services offered by any Internet Service Providers in India.

ACT is available in Bangalore, Nellore, Vijayawada, Vishakhapatnam and Chennai. They are roping in the cable providers and equipping them with infrastructure and the technical knowhow. We would love to hear from you, Do drop in a comment below about your experiences with ACT.
