Vivo just launched the Vivo X200, and iQOO 13 also recently came to the market. Both are priced very differently, so there’s no point in doing the head-to-head comparison. Further, they serve to different needs of the users. But if you want to understand which device will fulfil which need of yours, you should look at this article in which I have focused on being as objective as possible.
Vivo X200 series is very much camera-oriented, while the iQOO 13 is performance-oriented. This is not to say that Vivo X200 won’t perform well in gaming and other things, it is just that it will cost you more than the iQOO 13. If camera + performance is your priority, then the Vivo X200 will be a good option. Let’s dive into the details.
In size, Vivo X200 has a 6.67-inch display, while the iQOO 13 has a 6.82-inch display. Vivo X200 has support for 120Hz refresh rate and 4500nits of peak brightness, but with iQOO 13, it is 1800nits of peak brightness while support for refresh rate is 144Hz. iQOO focused on support for hardware-based high-frequency 2160Hz PWM dimming. Even iQOO 13 has support for 2592Hz PWM dimming. Anything above 2000Hz is considered good and safe for the eyes.
In the Vivo X200, you get an LTPS panel on display, while with the iQOO 13 you get an LTPO panel. Let’s directly jump to the camera part now.

Vivo X200 vs iQOO 13: Camera
Vivo X200 has a camera system co-engineered with ZEISS. iQOO 13 doesn’t feature any such partnership. There’s a triple camera setup at the rear in the iQOO 13 with a 50MP Sony IMX921 VCS primary sensor paired with a 50MP Sony telephoto sensor (4X lossless zoom), and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. For selfies, there’s a 32MP sensor in the front.
Vivo X200 also features a triple-camera setup at the rear. There’s a 1/2-inch 50MP Sony IMX882 telephoto sensor with support for 100X HyperZoom paired with a 50MP Sony IMX921 VCS true colour main camera, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera. There is support for wedding style portraits that happen in India, and a Pro Sports Mode for when there’s a lot of movement in the scene. The telephoto sensor supports HyperZoom, Macro, Portrait, and Nightscape. For selfies, there’s a 32MP sensor at the front.
Telephoto sensors in India haven’t supported all this in other devices. The telephoto macro is especially intriguing, as you don’t need to get closer to the subject anymore. While I haven’t experienced both the phones yet, I have seen the Vivo X200 recently in its launch event, and the details that this device can achieve in terms of colours with zoom shots, or normal shots is super good. I can’t say this for iQOO 13 as I haven’t used the device or seen it in action even for a brief moment.

Vivo has focused a lot on capturing the night scenes accurately. There’s also Street Photography mode on the Vivo X200 along with support for 23mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, and 100mm closeup portraits, all in partnership with ZEISS to bring the accurate colours.
At the same time, iQOO 13 also now comes with NICE 2.0, which is its algorithm to make night shots better, and support for portrait photography in 24mm, 35mm, 50mm, and 100mm. There’s also Streetphotography support present with iQOO 13.
Both devices have AI features and support for making the images better, and editing them. Overall, Vivo’s telephoto sensor and colour accuracy claims because of its partnership wth ZEISS is making it look like a superior camera option here. From the results I have personally seen on Vivo X200, I would agree that it produces phenomal images and with excellent accuracy. That’s not to say that iQOO 13 doesn’t have a good camera. It definitely looks like a decent one, but in comparison on paper, slightly behind the X200.
iQOO 13 vs Vivo X200: Performance
Before we jump into the performance scores, let’s just look at what you are getting with both smartphones.
The iQOO 13 features Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC while the X200 comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC. Both are flagship chips from Qualcomm and MediaTek for smartphones. iQOO said that it has co-engineered the Snapdragon 8 Elite with Qualcomm to bring high levels of efficiency and ultra-low power consumption into play. The gaming with iQOO 13 will be amazing owing to the Q2 performance chip paired with the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
Vivo X200’s Dimensity 9400 SoC enhances CPU performance by 28% in comparison to the previous year’s chip, and reduces GPU power consumption by 44%. Both chips also come with signficant enhancements in the NPU (Neural Processing Unit) for a superior AI experience.
In the battery department, the X200 has a 5800mAh battery with support for 90W fast-charging. There’s up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage and 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM in the X200, while the iQOO 13 has up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 internal storage. In the iQOO 13, you get a 6000mAh battery with support for 120W fast-charging.
In the performance area, iQOO 13 looks like as a more value option than the X200, but this is again not to say that X200 doesn’t perform well. The X200 and iQOO 13 can both perform well and do tasks that you need them to. But the X200’s higher cost is due to its higher focus on integrating an enhanced camera system with ZEISS.
Both devices have Funtouch skin of Android 15, and have focused a lot on optimisation. The iQOO 13 has 3D Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor on the display, while the X200 has an optical fingerprint sensor. Both devices support the essential 5G network bands in India.
The antutu score of Vivo X200 is 2,537,181 while of the iQOO 13 is 2731039. iQOO 13 actually has a better Antutu score than the X200 Pro. Here’s the thing though, these scores are relatively not as important in differentiation if they are close to each other. Because if scores are around the same ballpark, then what matters is how well the software and the hardware is optimised to give you a better and snappier experience.
But objectively, just purely in performance, on paper the iQOO 13 looks like a superior device to the X200, but the X200 can also do everything the iQOO 13 can.
iQOO 13 vs Vivo X200: Price and Conclusion
The iQOO 13 starts at Rs 54,999 for the 12GB+256GB variant and Rs 59,999 for the 16GB+512GB variant. The Vivo X200 starts at Rs 65,999 for the 12GB+256GB variant while the 16GB+512GB variant costs Rs 71,999. The iQOO 13 is more performance focused for gaming, while the Vivo X200 is more camera focused. The iQOO 13 can also take decent images, the Vivo X200 can also perform close to what iQOO 13 can. So, at the end of the day, if you don’t want the super high quality camera system from Vivo in collaboration with ZEISS, you go for the iQOO 13. However, the Vivo X200 is great for content creators, who are primarily using their phones for recording and capturing moments.
The Vivo X200 is more about giving you a world-class camera experience and thus, Vivo has given you a telephoto camera that’s likely unmatched at this price range.
