Ready for Next Program
A key highlight is the ‘Ready for Next’ program, launched in 2022, which provides free Digital Advisory Services to small and medium enterprises (SMEs). This initiative has partnered with 1.6 lakh MSMEs across 16 sectors, addressing the digital divide and offering insights through the Digital Maturity Index from its 2024 Growth Insights Study, Vi said.
Clinic in a Bag
Vi is also showcasing its “Clinic in a Bag” solution, which allows doctors to assess and evaluate patients in real-time, regardless of location. This addresses the shortage of specialist manpower and equipment in remote areas.
Vi demonstrated this solution with live feeds from a health camp in a village in Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh. Real-time diagnostic reports are transmitted over its high-speed network to doctors located anywhere in the world, enabling informed consultations via video calls.
According to Vi, the solution is capable of performing over 30 Point of Care medical tests—including vitals, cardiac and pulmonary function, blood tests, and screenings—offering a cost-effective alternative. These tests are delivered for under Rs 250, benefiting millions in rural India who face challenges in accessing primary healthcare centers.
