Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), a state-owned telecom operator, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the All India Manufacturers Organisation (AIMO). The MoU was signed in Chennai, and its objective is to collaborate on research and innovation projects that will take the field of telecom ahead. Both entities will work together to develop and deliver capacity-building programmes and skill-training initiatives for the youth of this nation.
Many startups will also get mentorship under the MoU who are seeking for opportunities in the telecom sector. Additionally, BSNL will also ensure that students get the opportunity to get an apprenticeship through AIMO and joint certificates will be issued (by AIMO and BSNL) after the training period is successfully completed.
Here, AIMO will be responsible for raising the funds through the industry/SME or through the respective ministries. Lastly, AIMO will also help students in getting placements.

BSNL Expected to Deploy 150 4G Towers Soon in Adilabaad District
In another development, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is soon expected to complete the deployment of 150 4G towers in the Adilabad district. Adilabad is a disctrict in Telangana. The work to deploy 4G towers is ongoing and in the coming future should be completed. The development was first shared by the TelanaganaToday which said that tribals residing in the hilly areas and valleys of Adilabad, Nirman, and Kumran Bheem Asifabad districts would benefit a lot from this. People there sometimes have to climb trees in search of network signals.
In certain instances, the report said that people living there had to climb mountains or walk long distances just to talk to their family members. The arrival of seamless 4G networks will be crucial for the future of the citizens there.

"The installation of the towers reached the final stage. Electricity facility was created, while 4G sets were installed," Sridhar, BSNL’s divisional engineer, Bellampalli, said.
BSNL's 4G networks will arrive in most parts of the country by next year.
