Netflix stated that its primary goal is to create a gaming experience that caters to a diverse audience since the company added mobile games to its portfolio in 2021. This latest development marks the commencement of a broader journey to make games playable on virtually every device where Netflix is enjoyed - spanning televisions, computers, and mobile devices.

Limited Beta Test Unveiled

Commencing on August 14th, Netflix is rolling out a limited beta test, initially available to a select group of members in Canada and the United Kingdom on select TVs and PCs and Macs through netflix.com on supported browsers in the next few weeks.

Curated Gaming Selection

As part of this initial trial phase, Netflix has chosen two distinct games to capture the interests of its audience. "Oxenfree," crafted by the renowned Night School Studio and developed by Netflix's in-house game development team, promises an immersive experience that merges storytelling with interactivity. Additionally, "Molehew’s Mining Adventure," an engaging gem-mining arcade game, will offer a different kind of gaming escapade.

Netflix says it is committed to continuously adding more devices to this list as the program evolves.
